I have to say that I am amazed at all that God is doing and saying. So much of what He has said has or is coming to pass and I was pre-warned of the challenges, but I know for certain in the end, they will come to naught.

God has prepared me all my life for this. He has built my faith to the point where I shall not be moved. It’s all a part of the plan. Yes, even the detours are part of the plan.

This past Sunday I was in a wrestling match all day. My spirit was vexed and I was asking God some questions. But on Monday I received my answers. I have gone through some things and I have always had a fear of losing the promise, but God assured me that WILL NOT be the case. That is why he warns us in advance. He wants to combat fear, so He lets us know.

I was reading 1 Samuel 25 about David, Nabal and Abigail. Briefly the bible say Nabal was a foolish wealthy man and he was about to get killed by David for being rude and not granting David’s request. Along comes Abigail taking up for her husband and averting disaster. Later, Abigail’s husband died and she ended up marrying David. I’ve been meditating on that chapter for few days and I finally got it!. God is requiring me to do some things and I’m the woman for the job.

My former Pastor taught us that “destiny is not left up to chance, but it’s a matter of choice”. It’s the choices we make today that determine our destiny, and if we get off course and desire to get back on course, He will make sure that happens.

In my last blog I shared some former things, but I am not going to revisit that stuff again. It was a learning experience and something I went through and now it’s time to move on to the new greater thing.

I’m excited about the new thing God is doing. It’s new, healthy and exciting. God is turning things around for my good and he spared me unnecessary pain. I can actually see so much of what God said manifesting now. It really is all about the set time. It’s the time when God’s promises are to be made manifest and in spite of what we may believe, some manifestation must happen at a particular time. It can’t happen a minute earlier or a minute later.

Now someone is having some nagging doubts concerning some matter, and God is saying the reason is because He is going to do something new. It’s not what you think it is. Be open for the revelation of the new. And keep moving!

I shared once that I was watching this reality show (don’t judge me, lol) and the character was going nuts over her boyfriend and for the first time, I could really identify with her. I don’t know when or how it happened, but something entered my heart. I see now why God protected me from relationships. One of my friends once said to me that had I endured what she did, in her relationship, “you would have gotten a ring”. We laugh about it. Even she could see that I would not have tolerated what she did.

Everyone is different and men play with women’s emotions and feelings all the time, not realizing that they take it to heart. You can’t assume that because a woman is a certain age that she has a lot of experience and will bounce back easily. Women are not the same as men, and whether you send a full out message or subtle mixed messages, it affects us.

Failure doesn’t feel good. Especially concerning matters of the heart. But I am recovering and by the grace of God I am okay.

That which God has promised will surely come to pass no matter what little detours are taken along the way. God was just reiterating that I don’t have to worry about a thing!

I was thinking that God knows the heart of an individual and he know they really do want what He wants. But He does not make us do what we don’t want to do and that is the truth. So He will allow us to do or get exactly what we want. Sometimes we accept early on that we must acquiesce to His will and we just submit. But other times we will go on and do what we desire to do and that is also a part of the plan.

Today as I read the devotional below, I knew God was telling me not to pray against some exercising their free will (I won’t) but to allow His process to take place. Sometimes the action that we want to spare someone of is the very circumstance that will get them to destiny. In other words, your rebellious teen may have to hook up with the bad boy in order to become who God wants her to become. Your wayward son may have to go the route of smoking marijuana and go to jail to make him into who he needs to be. Your wrong decision, even if you don’t think it is right now, will bring you to the right decision.

I’m a seer and I always want to protect people from what I see. Parents are seers too! (lol) They have lived life and been down some hard roads and they see the end, so they want to protect their child. But in the end, we all have life lessons to learn, so we cannot pray that some will not exercise their free will and learn even the hardest lessons. God is going to use that nightmare they are about to go through and work it out for their good.

For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
